Realtor Susan Johnson will be among the dancers to participate in Jacksonville’s annual First Coast Dancing with the Stars event, to be held Sep. 17. The fundraising event will benefit the Beaches Fine Arts Series.

Johnson will be joined by partner and professional Allan Alday, owner of Dance Alday in Ponte Vedra, as formally introduced during a reveal party. According to Johnson, over the next four months she and Alday will be practicing for the performance and raising funds to help bring the arts to Northeast Florida.

Johnson is a resident of Sawgrass and a RE/MAX agent in Ponte Vedra Beach. She is actively involved in Business Network International and currently serves as vice president of the Making Waves Chapter. Alday has been a professional dance instructor since 1991 and competes across the country with his students in the Pro-Am division for American Smooth, American Rhythm, International Ballroom and International Latin dance. In 2014, his studio won seven Top Studio awards.

First Coast Dancing with the Stars first began in 2013. The annual fundraising event benefits the Beaches Fine Arts series in Jacksonville, a community outreach effort that aims to bring the arts to the First Coast through free music and dance concerts and performances.
