The Ponte Vedra Woman’s Club recently presented scholarships and charitable donations to a number of local residents and organizations – the results of the nonprofit group’s year-long fundraising efforts to benefit the community.

Scholarships were presented to St. Gerard’s student Kyesha Jones, who will attend First Coast Technical College; Nease student Parker Perella, who will attend Trinity College of Florida; and Ponte Vedra High School student Madison Lee, who will attend University of Central Florida.

Charities helped by the woman’s club during the past year include the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind, St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS), St. Gerard’s Campus and Haven Horse Ranch. Charitable organizations wishing to be considered for support from PVWC must submit a request for assistance that includes the organization’s goals, objectives and planned use of funds. Submissions may be mailed to PVWC, PO Box 957, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32004 or emailed to pontevedrawomansclub@hotmail.com.
