Pulitzer Prize-winning author William Finnegan to discuss ‘Barbarian Days’ at The BookMark May 17

 Pulitzer Prize-winning author William Finnegan will discuss his award-winning memoirs, “Barbarian Days: A Surfing Life,” at The BookMark in Neptune Beach on Tuesday May 17 at 7 p.m.

“Barbarian Days” recounts Finnegan’s lifelong obsession with surfing, beginning with his early years in California and Hawaii. He went on to become a distinguished writer and war correspondent.

A staff writer for “The New Yorker,” Finnegan is the author of “Cold New World,” “A Complicated Ward,” “Dateline Soweto” and “Crossing the Line.”

The BookMark is located at 220 First St. in Neptune Beach.
