Sophomore running back Brian Case

“On the goal line I just try to plow through,” Case said. “It’s all about gets those last couple of yards. When you find the end zone, it’s just such a relief.”

“I want to thank my o-line because it’s definitely not possible without them opening up the holes,” Case said.

“When there’s green grass to run, you just try to hit it and run as fast you can,” Case chuckled.

“I’ve really improved when it comes to just staying on my feet, because sometimes I lean too far forward,” Case said. “One thing I continue to work on is my speed.”

“It’s the battle of the bridges (up next), the biggest rivalry in Florida,” Case said.

Senior center Xavier Agatep

“We’re definitely a lot closer (as an offensive line),” Agatep said. “We bond every single day at practice.”

“We’ve been having some tough practices and you’re seeing that it’s paying off,” Agatep said. “I’m just getting stronger and making sure to get my bench (press) and squat up.”

“I love running the ball and when we get the chance to run it down their throat,” Agatep said. “Watching that clock run off is my favorite.”

“You have to make all the calls as a center and you’ve got to know what everyone is doing at all times,” Agatep said.

“After taking that L (loss) last year, we’ve been looking forward to this game and getting some revenge,” Agatep said. “We would love to start another streak for the upcoming generations.”
