NASCAR’s Stewart-Haas Racing Team will be in Jacksonville on Thursday, Sept. 10, spearheading the annual Highway to Help Heroes charity drive. This 30-mile drive will take place on Feb. 6, with all proceeds benefiting The FOP Foundation Fallen Officers Welfare Relief Fund and K9s for Warriors.

The drive will feature a fleet of supercars, which will be available for local and national corporate sponsorships. In addition, each supercar and driver will honor an officer who has been physically or mentally distressed, as the “front seat rider” on the drive.

“The FOP celebrates the life and sacrifice of police officers who have paid the price for our protection. This drive will help us continue that mission, and for that, we are grateful,” said Steve Zona, president of FOP, Lodge 530.

This annual charity event is hosted by Sissine’s Office Systems and SAC Collective in collaboration and partnership with Ring Power Corp. The drive will bring nearly 100 participating supercar drivers and more than 500 attendees, in an effort to support the families and officers killed and injured in the line of duty, and those suffering from post-traumatic stress.

“The Highway to Helping Heroes drive is all about helping our heroes — that means our fallen FOP heroes as well as the warriors that we work with every day,” Rory Diamond, CEO at K9s For Warriors, said. “We’re grateful to receive the support and generosity from the sponsors and participants of this event.”
