River City Wrestling Con (RCWC), Florida’s largest annual sports and entertainment convention, will be held at the World Golf Village Renaissance St. Augustine Resort on June 6 and 7.
Lucha Libre legend Rey Mysterio and wrestling icon Bill Goldberg will both appear as guests of honor on Saturday, June 6, along with more than 70 featured guests during the two-day event.
Rey Mysterio’s legacy is defined by his revolutionary “Lucha Libre” style and his status as the ultimate underdog. He is a multi-time World Champion and 2023 WWE Hall of Fame inductee; Mysterio captivated a global audience during his storied career in WCW and WWE.
Mysterio is known for his iconic masks and has remained a cultural icon for decades.
Goldberg, one of the most dominant and recognizable figures in professional wrestling history, is a WWE hall of famer (class of 2018) and an inductee into the Florida-Georgia Hall of Fame (class of 2024).
Goldberg is a former University of Georgia Bulldog who is best known for his historic undefeated streak and explosive in-ring presence.
“Rey Mysterio and Bill Goldberg are global icons whose impact spans sports, entertainment, and culture. Having them both headline our Saturday lineup speaks to how far this event has grown and the level of experience we’re delivering to our fans,” said Nicholas Bateh, founder of River City Wrestling Con.
Trish Stratus, Amy “Lita” Dumas and The Great Khali will headline the event on Sunday, June 7.
RCWC was founded in 2019, and the event continues to grow each year.
“Thousands of passionate fans attend River City Wrestling Con annually. The response this year has been massive. We consistently sell out the surrounding hotels, and we are tracking toward a 20% attendance increase for this year's event,” said Bateh.
Farah & Farah is the presenting sponsor at RCWC this year, and Bateh is excited about their involvement. “The team over there are massive wrestling fans themselves, which makes this partnership a perfect fit. They bring incredible energy and shared passion to the convention,” he said.
Fans attending RCWC will have the opportunity to meet both Rey Mysterio and Bill Goldberg in person on Saturday, including exclusive autograph sessions, photo opportunities, and limited VIP Experiences. There are a range of admission options including single-day general admission tickets to premium VIP weekend packages that include early entry and exclusive perks.
