Ponte Vedra High senior Katherine Kelly won the Class 3A state championship in the girls pole vault as she cleared 3.45 meters, which is the equivalent to nearly 11.5 feet.
The success for Sharks continued with senior Adrienne Edwards finishing third on the podium in the girls long jump with a distance of 19.3 feet and senior James O’Donnell came home third in the boys javelin throw launching his longest throw more than 186 feet, while on the track, fellow senior Daisy Ross represented the Sharks and finished fourth in the girls 3200-meter event and sixth in the 1600 meters.
