Landrum Middle School’s cross-country teams dominated their home invitational on Saturday, with siblings Liam and Colette Heffernan winning both the boys’ and girls’ individual titles.
Liam Heffernan (8th grader) captured first place in the boys’ race with an official time of 10:42, while his sister Colette Heffernan (6th grader) took first place in the girls’ race with a time of 10:55.
Their victories helped lead Landrum to a clean sweep of the meet, as both the boys’ and girls’ teams earned first place overall. The competition featured nine boys’ teams and eight girls’ teams from across Northeast Florida.
