Sports ticket auction to help Jacksonville Humane Society

The Jacksonville Humane Society (JHS) is giving sports fans an opportunity to experience two premier matches in London while making a lifesaving difference for homeless pets.

JHS recently announced its Ultimate London Sports Experience, an exclusive auction package featuring four tickets to see the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Houston Texans at Wembley Stadium on Oct. 18 and four tickets to Fulham vs. Hull City at Craven Cottage on Oct. 17.

Sports fans can bid on this one-of-a-kind experience at jaxhumane.org/London. All proceeds from the auction will support the Jacksonville Humane Society’s mission and the JHS Medical Fund, which provides critical medical care for homeless pets, including everything from routine vaccinations and spay/neuter procedures to specialty and emergency, lifesaving surgeries.

“We are incredibly thankful to the Jacksonville Jaguars for helping make this extraordinary experience possible,” said Lawrence Nicolas, CEO of the Jacksonville Humane Society. “We hope our community will help us spread the word to sports fans near and far, so we can serve the growing need for pets in our community. Every bid can make a meaningful difference for an animal who needs a second chance.”

The Ultimate London Sports Experience is also a “taste” of the incredible items and experiences supporters will have the opportunity to bid on at JHS’s upcoming signature fundraising event, Toast to the Animals, taking place Friday, Oct. 2, at the Jessie Ball duPont Center in downtown Jacksonville. From unforgettable experiences to unique auction packages, Toast to the Animals gives animal lovers an opportunity to have fun while raising critical funds for pets in need.

Tickets for Toast to the Animals are on sale now at jaxhumane.org/toast.
