St. Johns CARES will host a Kids Farmers Market presented by Kiddie Academy June 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The two groups will coordinate the area’s first-ever Kids Farmers Market, inviting kids 16 and under to showcase their entrepreneurial spirit and sell their own goods. Proceeds from the table registration will benefit St. Johns CARES, a nonprofit organization committed to helping local charities in St. Johns County.
The cost of a table at the event is $10, and children will keep all earnings from the day. Space is limited and is expected to go quickly. To register or for more information, visit the event website at www.bit.ly/KidsFarmersMarket. To donate to Alex’s Lemonade Stand, visit www.alexslemonade.org/mypage/1315451.
This free event is open to the public and the community is encouraged to come in support of local kids and their homemade wares, baked goods, art and more. The Kids Farmers Market will be held at Greenleaf Pavilion, located at 254 Greenleaf Drive in Nocatee’s Greenleaf Village. The market will also feature a bounce house, free face paint and Alex’s Lemonade Stand, the proceeds of which will benefit children with cancer.
