The St. Augustine Amateur golf tournament, a three-day invitational event for advanced amateur golfers, will be held Oct. 9-11 at the St. Johns Golf Club in Elkton.
The 17th playing of the St. Augustine Amateur will showcase the best of junior, collegiate and mid-amateur golfers from the United States and around the world. Fans and spectators are welcome, and admission and parking are free to the public.
Net proceeds of the event benefit the First Tee of North Florida, which gives young people of all backgrounds an opportunity to develop life-enhancing values and healthy habits such as honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, and responsibility through golf and character education.
