Emelia Slaughter, class of ’31, assumed her duties as Principal for the Day on the Bolles Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach Campus on Dec. 10.
Her full day of work included visiting every classroom on campus, covering the front desk, taking phone calls and being a positive, encouraging campus leader. Bolles Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach Campus Head Stacey Hendershot said Emelia did an “amazing” job.
Emelia was named to the position through her parents’ participation in a “Wheel of Fortune” game at The Bolles Fund Kick-Off party this fall.
Bolles Lower School Whitehurst Campus Head Christy Lusk said she has two Principals for the Day lined up to take over her position in the early days of 2022.
