The Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra Beach Sunset’s recent “Meet and Greet” membership drive was a boon to local charity Blessings in a Backpack.
As part of the club’s membership drive, members and guests were encouraged to bring jars of peanut butter for donation to Blessings in a Backpack of St. Johns County, which provides backpacks full of food to local students who otherwise would go hungry over the weekend.
As a result of the drive, the Sunset Rotary donated 99 jars of peanut butter, which was to be sent home with local children over spring break.
