The Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra Beach Sunset will hold a comedy fundraiser to benefit the service organization’s charities.
To be held Saturday, April 1 at 6:30 p.m. at UNF’s Robinson Theater, “Comedy for a Cause” will feature Jacksonville comedian Danny Johnson – a noted comedian who has performed with Chris Rock, Bob Saget, Billy Gardell and Richard Lewis – and a special guest comedian. In addition to the comedy show, the event will feature a silent auction, raffle drawing, hors d’oeuvres and cash bar.
Proceeds from the event will benefit The Rotary Foundation, which is celebrating its centennial in 2017, as well as Rotary’s End Polio Now campaign. For more than three decades, Rotary clubs around the world have been working to eradicate polio, with just a handful of cases remaining today.
Tickets to “Comedy for a Cause” are $45 per person. For tickets or more information, visit www.comedy4acause.org.
