The Salon MM, a luxury hair salon known for its elevated customer experience and stunning mid-century modern design, moved from their previous location in Palencia to Ponte Vedra in the spring.
The salon is co-owned by Rick Kushner and Machello Mello. Mello is the lead master stylist with more than 30 years of experience and previously owned salons in Brazil and New York. Now he brings his expertise to Ponte Vedra and the surrounding areas.
They offer the best products, treatments and new trends. The salon only uses premium products including Goldwell for color.
The Salon MM is one of the only salons in the area selected to use and sell Kérastase products, making it stand out even more. Their services include balayage, Brazilian blowouts, full highlights, keratin, men’s haircuts and kids’ haircuts. They prioritize making each service a unique experience. Kushner said they offer lattes, cappuccinos, soft drinks and delicious Brazilian appetizers to clients each day.
Nothing is too big or too small, Kushner said. Their four master stylists handle anything from a simple haircut to a complete transformation. Clients often say The Salon MM rivals any New York salon with its beautiful design, customer service and attention to detail.

Their hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
