The Sisterhood of the Traveling Plants will once again host “Downton Abbey”-themed holiday flower arranging shows at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library and Anastasia Island Branch Library in November.

Both events, sponsored by Friends of the Library organizations, will be free and open to the public.

The first event will take place Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Anastasia Island Branch Library, followed by an identical show Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. This year’s events will begin at a new time: 1 p.m. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m., and the event will conclude at 3 p.m.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Plants is comprised of Marilyn Smith and Cathy Snyder from the Las Adelfas Circle of the Garden Club of St. Augustine. The pair will show participants how to have fun crafting arrangements using flowers and food as the medium, with the popular historical period drama television series “Downton Abbey” as inspiration.

Arrangements made at each event will be raffled off. The Friends of the Library organizations will be selling raffle tickets at both events. Light refreshments will be served.

The Anastasia Island Branch Library is located at 124 Seagrove Main St., St. Augustine Beach. The Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library is located at 101 Library Blvd.
