Arguably the world’s best doubles team ever, Bob and Mike Bryan, have committed to attend the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation’s Annual Gala fundraiser: The Sherman Family Champions for Children Gala. The gala fundraiser will take place Oct. 23 at the Florida Blue Conference Center.

The Sherman Family Champions for Children Gala is the foundation’s largest fundraiser and raises funds to support the afterschool and summer programs of the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation. The event includes a cocktail reception with seated dinner, live and silent auctions, student testimonials and the “Heads or Tails” Raffle, along with a Fireside Chat with Bob and Mike Bryan.

The Bryan twins are no strangers to tennis fans and are arguably the best doubles team of all time.

Identical twin brothers, the former professional ATP players and are known for their 119 titles, 16 Grand Slam wins and 438 weeks as the world’s No. 1 ranked doubles team.

Born April 29, 1978, they also won Olympic gold in 2012 and are the only team to have won every Grand Slam title and all nine Masters 1000 tournaments.

Although identical, Bob Bryan plays left-handed and Mike Bryan plays right-handed. They both attended and played for Stanford University, helping the team win two NCAA Championships. They now play in the Bryan Bros. Band with Bob on keyboards and Mike on drums and guitar.

On Aug. 23, they were inducted in the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

Gala sponsorships, tables and tickets are now on sale and are expected to be a sell-out with the addition of the Bryan Brothers. Limited tickets currently remain.
