Two people were found dead in Ponte Vedra Saturday afternoon in a house off Southern Oak Drive in Nocatee’s Twenty Mile neighborhood, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office (SJSO).
A Facebook post from SJSO states that two individuals came to the residence around noon on Saturday to check on the residents because they had been unable to contact them. When they arrived at the home, they discovered two people deceased inside. The agency said, given the initial findings inside the home and other factors, no suspects are currently being sought.
The names of the deceased have not been released yet. SJSO’s Major Crimes Unit is continuing to investigate the situation.
