Fourth-grade students at Ocean Palms Elementary School (OPES) recently had the opportunity to learn about rockets, satellites and space when they were visited by guest speaker Tyler Strickland, a flight design and mission engineer for United Launch Alliance (ULA). Using virtual reality viewers, the students watched a recent rocket launch and were inspired to learn more about space and improve their problem-solving skills through teamwork.
