The Urban Land Institute (ULI) of North Florida recently announced the graduates of their inaugural Center for Leadership.

According to a press release on behalf of the organization, the 28 graduates join more than 700 individuals across the country who have participated in the program since its inception in 2010. The hands-on focused training is designed to cultivate leaders in the real estate industry and facilitate collaboration to examine some of North Florida’s most pressing land use issues.

The class was comprised of developers, engineers, attorneys, bankers, planners, brokers, architects and other real estate professionals.

“Leadership is such an important aspect of the real estate industry; therefore, I am proud of our members who participated in this opportunity to sharpen their skills,” said Maurice “Mo” Rudolph, chair of ULI North Florida. “The knowledge and experience they have gained will continue to serve North Florida for years to come.”

The graduates were chosen by a selection committee comprised of senior ULI leaders to join the intensive eight-course program. Each course included a component on leadership, instruction and site tours of real estate projects, and an interactive facilitated exercise known as a Technical Assistance Panel, to assist local government with current land use issues.
