Community members stopped by Underwood Jewelers in Ponte Vedra Beach from Oct. 16-18 to meet renowned designer Erica Courtney and shop her dazzling collection in a trunk show.
Courtney’s Ponte Vedra appearance began with a cocktail party filled with eager guests looking to steal a moment with the designer and find their next signature piece.
Courtney specializes in unique pieces meant to make a statement. Her collections are filled with bold, colorful gems that have been worn by some of Hollywood’s most elite clientele, such as Sofia Vergara, Sandra Bullock, Jessica Alba and more.
The Drop Dead Gorgeous collection, many pieces of which are available at Underwood Jewelers, is adorned with vivid-colored jewels, whimsical designs and intricate details meant to create a perfect blend of feminine charm and attraction.
Filled with necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings, Courtney’s collection is a show-stopper at the Ponte Vedra store.
“All of the fancy details, the things people have never done, those make it more special,” Courtney said in an interview with The Recorder earlier this summer.
Courtney was whisked from one side of the counter to the other as she offered advice to guests about specific pieces in her collection and answered styling questions. Her jewelry-making process means she’s heavily involved in every step, from the sourcing of gems in Colombian and Kenyan mines to creating the pieces, eventually lending a hand in finding the jewelry’s new home.
