The United Way of St. Johns County (SJC) and the United Way of Northeast Florida are partnering to offer free tax preparation by certified tax preparers to individuals and families with a household income of $66,000 or less through a program called RealSense.
United Way-SJC offers this service to ensure that families and individuals can save the cost of tax preparation and reap the benefit of a properly prepared return. One-on-one appointments are offered Monday, Wednesday or Saturday, depending on the location. Additionally, documents can be scanned on-site to allow for completed returns with little wait time.

Individuals are asked to bring the following:
• Driver's license or other photo I.D.
• Checkbook for direct deposit of any refund(s)
• Social Security cards (yourself and all dependents)
• W-2 from each employer (no pay stubs)
• Documentation of all other income
• 1095-A if you received health-care coverage through the Marketplace
