U.S. News & World Report has named Starling at Nocatee “Best Independent Living” in the Jacksonville area as part of its Best Senior Living Communities 2022 report.
Residents gave Starling the highest recommendations.
“It’s beautiful here,” one resident in the study commented. “They did a great job designing the place. It’s outstanding. The staff is always available to help you solve any problems promptly.”
Residents praised the value and safety of the community, said it “feels like home” and said it offered a variety of life-enrichment activities.
They also praised the quality and variety of meals and the friendliness of the dining staff. Management, maintenance, housekeeping, staff members and the billing department all drew a rating of “excellent.”
“As the saying goes, ‘It is not a job if you love what you do,’ and our resident ratings reflect the dedication and passion that our team members have for our Starling community,” said Kerri Dufour, executive director of Starling at Nocatee Independent Living. “We are very proud to be named the best Independent Living in the Jacksonville area.”
Starling at Nocatee is located at 885 Crosswater Parkway, not far from the Splash Water Park and the Town Center. In addition to independent living, it also offers assisted living and memory care.
In its evaluation process, U.S. News surveyed residents of more than 3,000 senior living communities and their families. They were asked to rate their experiences in different categories, and independent living, assisted living and memory care were evaluated separately.
