Cleaning out your closet as part of your New Year’s organizing? The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach is accepting donations of gently used designer handbags for its popular annual “Bag Lady Luncheon.”
To be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 22 at Sawgrass Country Club, The Bag Lady Luncheon offers attendees the chance to bid on a silent auction featuring more than 100 designer bags. Proceeds from the event support the cultural center’s art education, exhibitions and community outreach programs. Since its inception in 2013, the luncheon has raised nearly $60,000 for the cultural center.
Tax-deductible donations of gently used handbags may be dropped off at the cultural center at 50 Executive Way in Ponte Vedra Beach. Tickets for the luncheon are $45 per person and may be purchased online at www.ccpvb.org or by calling Dee at (904) 280-0614 ext. 205.
