Baptist Medical Center Beaches one of the ‘Best Maternity Hospitals’

Baptist Medical Center Beaches has been named to Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Maternity Hospitals 2023. This prestigious award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., a global market research and consumer data firm. Baptist Beaches was one of only 159 “five-ribbon” hospitals recognized in the country.
Three data sources were used for the evaluation:

• Nationwide online survey: Health care professionals and hospital managers with knowledge about maternity processes e.g., neonatal and perinatal doctors, nurses and midwives were asked to recommend leading maternity hospitals in the United States.
• Medical key performance indicators of hospitals with a focus on indicators relevant to maternity care
• Results from patient surveys

“Choosing where to deliver your baby is an extremely important decision,” said Hospital President Jarret Dreicer. “This accomplishment highlights the compassionate and highly skilled care our physicians, nurses and maternity team provide to moms and families.”

Newsweek and Statista invited more than 10,000 medical professionals to participate in the survey. The awards list can currently be viewed on Newsweek’s website.
