Erica Courtney, a Los Angeles-based jewelry designer who caters to celebrities such as Jessica Alba, Julia Roberts and Sandra Bullock, visited Underwood’s Jewelers in Ponte Vedra Beach last week to present her jewelry line.
Courtney met with clients Nov. 2 through Nov. 4, including at a VIP event the evening of Nov. 2 that featured a presenation about her travels to places like Sri Lanka to find the world’s best gemstones. The theme of the event was “Indiana Jones in 6 Inch Heels.” In addition to visiting Ponte Vedra, Courtney stopped by the Underwood’s location in San Marco Nov. 1.
“They appreciate fine gem stones here and so do their clients,” said Courtney about Underwood’s. “They [the clients] understand quality. They’re sophisticated. They’re world travelers.”
Underwood’s Certified Gemologist Appraiser Denise Richards said what distinguishes Courtney’s jewelry is its rarity, noting that her gems are the finest you can find in the world.
