For the second year, Lawrence Datz, a board-certified family law attorney in Jacksonville, has been appointed as co-chair of the Law Management and Technology Committee for the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML).
The committee is responsible for looking at the future of family law practice from a holistic management perspective, such as utilizing technology, attracting and maintaining talent in a modern firm culture and marketing. The committee provides tools and resources to AAML fellows to meet best practice standards in the profession, including ways to efficiently operate a law office.
“I am honored to be reappointed to this key committee in the academy,” Datz said. “The AAML is considered the country’s most exclusive and prestigious organization for family law attorneys.”
By most statistics, the AAML fellows comprise approximately the top 1% to 2% of family law attorneys in the nation.
Datz, who has a family practice firm in Jacksonville, is board certified in marital and family law with more than 40 years of experience in all levels of divorce cases.
The AAML is a national not-for-profit membership association founded in 1962 and composed of the nation’s leading family law attorneys from all 50 states and the District of Columbia, with nearly 1,500 fellows.
