Writers from across the nation visited Nocatee’s Del Webb community Saturday, when the Riverwood Writer’s Group hosted the Florida Fling Writer’s Conference.
Held at Del Webb’s Anastasia Clubhouse, the conference was a program of the International Women’s Writing Guild. Instructor Judy Huge presented “Making More of Memoir: Tools for Drawing Readers to and into Your Nonfiction Writing,” while instructor Kelly DuMar presented “Writing Truth and Beauty: Using Your Personal Photos for Creative Writing in Poetry and Prose.”
Participants also had an opportunity take part in open readings of their work.
