Extract Juicery, a popular cold-pressed juice and smoothie bar, has announced the grand opening of its newest location in St. Johns County. The new store, located at 104 Ashourian Ave., Suite 104, will celebrate with a weekend event, April 26-27.

The company took over the former Clean Juice location, retaining the staff and bringing Extract's fresh new menu options to St. Johns County.

“We are thrilled to bring the Extract Juicery experience to St. Johns County,” said owner Kevin Walker. “Our cold-pressed juices, smoothies and acai bowls provide delicious, nutritious fuel for busy people seeking health and wellness. We look forward to becoming part of the community.”

Beginning at 8 a.m., the first 50 guests in line will receive a $50 rewards credit with any purchase. The credit can be used during future visits. Daniel Thomas of the Jacksonville Jaguars will be doing a meet-and-greet with a minimum purchase. Extract will also provide delicious samples of gourmet toasts, smoothies and cold-pressed juices available for customers waiting in line. The store will also hold raffles for free prizes, including a free juice cleanse, gym memberships, lululemon gift cards, an autographed football and an Apple watch.

Extract Juicery sets itself apart by using a cold-press process to extract the maximum nutrients from organic fruits and vegetables. This method produces juices bursting with vitamins, minerals and enzymes and a fresh flavor. Menu options include juices like Green Glow, Golden Pine and Beet-iful, as well as delicious smoothies such as Choco-Nuts, Island Sunrise and Vanilla Butter Berry. The juicer also offers acai bowls, wellness shots, toast, wraps, sandwiches, salads and gluten-free brownies.

Acai bowls packed with antioxidants provide an extra nutritious breakfast or snack. New to the St. Johns County menu are fresh-made salads, grain bowls and more. Customers can order online or through the Extract Juicery app for quick grab-and-go service.

Walker opened the first Extract Juicery in Wheaton, Illinois, in 2021 after struggling to find convenient options for fresh, cold-pressed juices and smoothies.

“I started Extract to make it easy for people like me — busy parents, professionals and athletes — to get great-tasting, nutrient-dense fuel into our bodies,” he said. “Our juices provide pure plant power to help you power through your day.”

Walker has plans for further expansion in 2024.

The St. Johns County store will be open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. For more information and online ordering, go to extractjuicery.com.
