U.S. Rep. John Rutherford and General Philip M. Breedlove visited Fleet Landing recently to discuss both domestic and international affairs.
Members of Fleet Landing’s Spinnaker Society attended the presentation along with members of the World Affairs Council’s Ambassador’s Circle, sponsors and benefactors. Rutherford, who represents Florida’s 4th congressional district, gave attendees a “Washington Update,” while Breedlove – who served as NATO’s supreme allied commander from 2013-2016 – spoke on “America’s Changing Role in the Global Arena.” Both speakers then engaged in a question and answer session with the audience.
