The Tesori Family Foundation held one of its all-star golf clinics at TPC Sawgrass with the famed courses clubhouse as the backdrop to the event.

Several participants with special needs and their families took part in the event, which was designed to develop a love of the game of golf by teaching the fundamentals of the game and how much fun it can be.

Frist Tee of North Florida partnered with the Tesori Family Foundation to help the event be a success by offering up some of the organizations instructors to help provide instruction to the attendees as they went from station to station.

“We come out and essentially bring all the golf equipment that’s here and we bring our coaches as well,” said Kyle Zugelter, assistant director of programming at First Tee of North Florida. “Putting on a great golf clinic for these kids is a highlight of our year for sure. The Tesori Foundation is one of our community partners and we really have a mission statement that aligns closely.”

Playing on the grounds at TPC Sawgrass is something every golfer dreams about, and for the golf club to offer up the facility to be used by the foundation will create definite memories.

“It just shows the local support that’s here in the community and within the golf network here in Northeast Florida,” Zugelter said.
