Cadow Development Consulting (CDC), a local fundraising and development firm, is offering nonprofit agencies and schools who serve children the opportunity to host a visit from Santa Claus.
Years ago, while playing the magical character of Santa for a girlfriend who taught third-graders in an impoverished neighborhood, CDC Principle Stanton Cadow was struck by a heartbreaking request from an 8-year-old child. When asked what the child wanted for Christmas, the child looked up at Cadow and said, “a daddy.”
Moved by this request, Cadow decided to offer Santa Claus to other nonprofit agencies and schools, particularly those in low-income neighborhoods. After starting a new firm, Cadow Development Consulting in 2017, Cadow decided it was time to resume this practice to give back and help make Christmas more enjoyable for less fortunate youth.
