Local health care leaders among Girl Scouts of Gateway Council’s 2017 ‘Women of Distinction’

Leaders from some of Jacksonville’s most respected health care organizations were among the honorees recognized recently at the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council’s 28th Annual Women of Distinction ceremony.

Eight women were recognized at the April 6 event, including Jane Lanier of St. Vincent’s HealthCare Foundation, Diane Raines of Baptist Health and Amy Ruth of Florida Blue. Additional honorees included WJXT anchor Mary Baer, Anna Lopez Brosche of Ennis Pellum & Associates CPAs, Diane Brunet-Garcia of Brunet-Garcia Advertising, Lakesha Burton of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and Nancy Chartrand, The Chartrand Foundation.

Women of Distinction is a signature fundraising event for GSGC, honoring local women for their professional accomplishments, service to others and community impact. Held at the Jacksonville Marriott, the event was co-chaired by Jan Lipsky and Rebecca Steele.
