‘Messiah’ performance benefits nonprofits

An upcoming ballet and choral production of “Messiah” by Handel will feature professional and amateur dancers and musicians working together to raise money for charity. The performance will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 18 at Jacksonville Performing Arts Center Moran Theatre, 300 Water St, Jacksonville.

Among those participating will be Grace Conservatory and the Saint Augustine Community Chorus.

The performance will benefit Alpha Omega Miracle Home, Emmanuel Project of Northeast Florida, Jacksonville Arts and Music School (JAMS), Saint Augustine Community Chorus, Unveiled Productions and Peace of Heart Community.
