Coastal Wine Market & Tasting Room hosted Anne Bousquet of Domaine Bousquet wines on Sept. 18 for another installment of the Nocatee business’ “Meet the Winemaker” series.
Attendees enjoyed the opportunity to engage with Bousquet — the CEO, co-founder and partner of Domaine Bousquet — and sample a variety of wines hailing from the Argentine winery.
The Bousquet family is originally from the city of Carcassonne in the South of France and has four generations of history in winemaking. In 1997, Domaine Bousquet relocated from France to the foothills of the Andes in Argentina to take advantage of the region’s ideal conditions for winemaking. The business’ winery is located in the Gualtallary valley in Tupungato, Mendoza at an altitude of 1,200 meters (4,000 feet), making it one of the higher altitude vineyards in Mendoza and the world.
