Variety of summer camps offered at the link

The link, the space that inspires in the heart of Nocatee, is once again inviting kids to a summer “packed with creativity, adventure and skill development, setting the stage for a lifetime of success.”

The unique facility has announced its roster of summer camps, offering a wide variety of experiences between the end of May and the first week of August. And though young participants will be having lots of fun, making friends and forging great memories, they will also be acquiring important life skills.

Featured camps include: Creative Culinary; LEGO Robotics, Drones, Carrera Cars and Sphero; Let’s Get Creative Art Camp; Kids in the Kitchen; Fencing; and Dance & Tumble.

Here’s a quick look at these activities.

Creative Culinary: Children between the ages of 5 and 13 will don their chef’s hats and cook up some great experiences in the kitchen. There are six multi-day camps that run between May 28 and Aug. 9.

LEGO Robotics, Drones, Carrera Cars and Sphero: Technical whizzes between the ages of 6 and 12 will engage in a range of STEAM activities, running missions and learning to code. There are 11 multi-day sessions that run between May 28 and Aug. 9.

Let’s Get Creative Art Camp: Kids between the ages of 5 and 12 will create a wide range of art works in this fun-filled camp. There are six sessions that run between May 28 and Aug. 9.

Kids in the Kitchen: Kids between the ages of 5 and 12 will have lots of fun building their culinary skills and learning such topics as etiquette and kitchen safety and organization. There are three sessions between June 10 and July 19.

Dance & Tumble: Kids between the ages of 5 and 12 will learn to dance and tumble, but they will also play games and make crafts. There are two sessions between June 24 and July 12.

Olympic Style Fencing: Kids between the ages of 6 and 13 will learn from an expert in this, one of the oldest Olympic sports. They will learn basic skills, technique and the rules. There are two sessions between June 10 and June 21.
