Many people may know Alyssa Wakeley as the founder of Warriors That Pray, but she’s also the owner of a marketing and creative company and a busy mom who’s lived in this area for more than 15 years.

Tell us about your business or your organization. What is your position and what are your responsibilities?

I own a marketing and creative company that helps locally owned businesses strengthen their branding, messaging and overall presence through design, digital marketing, content creation and strategic planning. I love working directly with clients to bring their vision to life in a way that feels true to who they are.

I also serve as the marketing director for Rock Solid Law & Title, where I have proudly worked for the past eight years. In this role, I manage the firm’s branding, digital presence, campaigns and community engagement. One of the most rewarding parts has been watching the firm grow and seeing how many families and business owners we serve each year. Our team works incredibly hard, and it’s been exciting to celebrate major recognitions — including being voted Best Business Attorney for four consecutive years and Best Overall Law Firm.

Alongside that, I am the founder of Warriors That Pray, a faith-based jewelry line where every bracelet purchased helps gift a bracelet to a cancer warrior. I also serve on the board of the Blessed Bible Mission.

What do you like best about what you do?

I love using my creativity to help clients bring their branding and message to life. Seeing a locally owned business feel confident, polished and proud of their identity is incredibly fulfilling. I also love working in environments where real people and families are being served.

What is a typical day like for you?

My day usually includes designing graphics, managing social media, writing marketing content and coordinating campaigns for both my marketing clients and Rock Solid Law & Title. I’m constantly creating, planning and helping make sure brands look and feel cohesive.

I also work on Warriors That Pray — making bracelets, preparing packaging, fulfilling orders, or responding to cancer warriors who reach out. Creativity is a big part of my daily routine and so is balancing everything with being a mom and a wife.

Tell us about your background, especially as it applies to your career or involvement with your organizations.

My background spans marketing, sales, account management and high-end restaurant management — all of which helped shape the business I run today. Over time, I realized how much I thrive when I’m using my creativity through designing, branding and helping businesses grow in ways that feel authentic. I love working with locally owned businesses because I get the opportunity to work directly with the owners and founders, truly getting to know them, their personality, and the heart behind what they’re building. Being part of bringing their vision to life is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

My journey as a stage three breast cancer survivor inspired the creation of Warriors That Pray. Beading became a peaceful outlet during recovery, and gifting bracelets became a mission that still drives me today.

Serving on the board of the Blessed Bible Mission is also meaningful to me, as faith, compassion and service are central pillars in my life. (https://blessedbible.org/)

Are you from this area originally, or did you settle here from somewhere else?

I’m originally from Florida and have lived in the Jacksonville area for over 15 years. I was born in South Florida, spent most of my childhood in Central Florida and then came to Jacksonville to go to the University of North Florida. This community has shaped so much of my life — personally and professionally — and continues to be a place I’m proud to call home.

What do you like best about living here?

I love the beach, the relaxed atmosphere, and the strong support for locally owned businesses. Jacksonville has such a warm and welcoming feel, with endless opportunities to connect, collaborate and be involved. Jacksonville may be a very large city, but it has small town vibes.

How do you like to spend your free time?

My family all lives in the Northeast Florida and St. Mary’s area, so we get to spend a lot of time together, which is incredibly important to me. We love going out on the boat and spending time dirt biking and four-wheeling as a family. I also love going to the beach, painting and beading — those creative outlets are where I reset and find calm. A lot of my free time is spent at my kids’ baseball and soccer games, and I love watching them play. I also enjoy spending time with our dogs, working on Warriors That Pray, and supporting local shops, markets and small-business events.
