The PVHS swim team is having a great season. They added two more wins this past week. Tues., Sept. 29 the Sharks knocked the Clay High School Blue Devils on their tails.
Girls’ highlights: Caroline Metcalf-Parker, Jenny Norenberg, Elizabeth Garcia and Olivia Dries started things off with a win in the 200 Medley Relay. Carly Voytecek, Molly Voytecek, Caroline Metcalf-Parker and Emily Grace Alfaro teamed up to win the 200 Freestyle Relay. Carly Voytecek, Molly Voytecek, Olivia Dries and Emily Grace Alfaro teamed up to win the 400 Freestyle Relay. Emily Grace Alfaro also won the 50 and the 100 Freestyle. Emily Benson placed first in the 500 Freestyle. Molly Voytecek won the 100 Butterfly. Caroline Metcalf-Parker placed first in the 100 Backstroke.
Boys’ highlights: Eric Erhard, Sean Hoffman, Max Milicevic and Jonathan Magiske took first in the boys 200 Freestyle Relay. Frank Lukens won the 200 Freestyle. Jesse Hagy won the 200 IM. Eric Erhard won the 50 Freestyle. Daniel Beneventano placed first in the 100 Butterfly and the 500 Freestyle. Nicholas Cox placed first in the 100 Backstroke.
After just one day of rest, the Sharks took a big bite out of the Matanzas Pirates on Thurs., Oct. 1.

Eric Erhard, Sean Hoffman, Max Milicevic and Jonathan Magiske took first in the 200 Freestyle Relay. Daniel Beneventano, Sean Hoffman, Max Milicevic and Jesse Hagy won the 400 Freestyle Relay.
The Sharks swim next in the district competition at Cecil Field on Weds., Oct. 21. They will be swimming for their fifth district title.
