A boil water advisory has been issued by JEA for Ponte Vedra Beach residents.
Due to a water main break that occurred early Monday, the precautionary advisory is in effect for South Ponte Vedra Boulevard, Ponte Vedra Beach between 2493-3103. This advisory also includes homes on Turtle Shores Drive, Beachside Drive and Yellow Bill Lane.
Residents are advised to bring water to a rolling boil for a minimum of one minute before drinking, food prep or cooking. Residents are also encouraged to flush their water lines for at least three minutes after water returns to remove any air or possible sediments.
The notice is to remain in effect until the issue is resolved and after two consecutive days of satisfactory bacteriological results have been obtained.
