BRASS Bash to bring music of the Jacksonville Symphony to Nocatee

In support of the Jacksonville Symphony, a BRASS (Beaches Residents Actively Supporting the Symphony) Bash will be held Sunday, Oct. 28 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Crosswater Hall in Nocatee.

The family-friendly event will include a barbecue and performances by members of the Jacksonville Symphony, as well as members of the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestras.

An all-volunteer charitable organization, BRASS has contributed a total of $616,000 to the Jacksonville Symphony over the last seven years. In addition, BRASS sponsors local musical performances, fosters music education in local schools and through the OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) division of the University of North Florida, and provides scholarships to outstanding young musicians in our area.
