On Monday, May 9, Beaches Habitat for Humanity and title sponsor Larry and Nancy Huang invite the community to participate in the annual Builders Classic Golf Tournament.

Queen’s Harbour Yacht and Country Club will host this year’s tournament, with all proceeds benefiting Beaches Habitat’s mission of building affordable homes in the Jacksonville Beaches.

“We are very grateful to have Larry and Nancy Huang as our title sponsor for the second consecutive year,” said President and CEO Curtis Ford. “The Huangs’ generosity over the past 16 years has made a tremendous impact in the community. Dozens of families have achieved their dream of homeownership thanks to their support.”

Jeff Prosser of 1010XL‘s “The Drill” is the Builders Classic’s honorary host. Prosser will be on hand at Queen’s Harbour to play and also welcome the golfers and sponsors. In addition, he will lend his name and support to all advertising, social media and public relations platforms related to the 2022 tournament.

The format for the tournament is best ball with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. There will be four Par 3 hole-in-one contests with prizes including a Pebble Beach golf vacation, 2022 Land Rover Defender from Fields Auto Group and a 2022 vehicle from Nimnicht Buick GMC.

There will also be prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin and putting contests. One player will have the opportunity to shoot for $1 million, plus four lucky golfers will win a chance to shoot for $100,000. All golfers will enjoy a boxed lunch at registration, complimentary drink tickets and an awards banquet following tournament play.

Beaches Habitat’s Builders Classic features a wide variety of sponsorship opportunities, perfect for a local business or organization interested in partnering with a respected and recognized 501c3 non-profit. Individual golfers and foursomes are also welcome.
