The St. Johns County Chamber Ponte Vedra Beach Division held a Before Hours: Salute to Veterans event Tuesday, Nov. 3, at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa.
The event celebrated the men and women who served the country and featured special guest Mike Linnington, CEO of the Wounded Warrior Project. Linnington, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general, has 35 years of military experience, including serving on the Army Staff, the Joint Staff and the Office of the Secretary of Defense’s Staff. He oversees day-to-day operations and works with the executive team to set and implement WWP’s strategic vision. He is responsible for ensuring WWP’s free, direct programs and services continue to have the greatest possible impact on the warriors, caregivers and families it serves.
