As the elections approach, the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce will host two “Politics in St. Johns” events to offer citizens the opportunity to meet candidates running for a wide array of public offices.
In Ponte Vedra, the chamber is joining forces with the Ponte Vedra Recorder and Hilton Garden Inn to host a “Candidate Meet & Greet” reception. To be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 27 at the Hilton Garden Inn, the event will enable attendees to speak one on one with candidates. The St. Augustine event will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 4 at the Solomon Calhoun Center at 1300 Duval St. The festive indoor event will feature candidate information booths as well as a straw poll. Food trucks will also be on site.
