Posted

In an article recently published by Coastal Living magazine, Ponte Vedra Beach was recognized as one of the “20 Best Places to Live on the Coast in 2018.”

The list, which features 20 “amazing locations” throughout North and Central America, places Ponte Vedra Beach among such coastal retreats as Las Terrenas, in the Dominican Republic, and Las Catalinas, Costa Rica. According to author Tracy Minkin, Ponte Vedra Beach is unique for its charming combination of the old and new.

“An Old Florida resort town with New Florida amenities, this growing seaside community on the Atlantic coast has embraced its nostalgic setting, anchored by the beloved Ponte Vedra Inn & Club,” Minkin wrote. “Golfers love Ponte Vedra, which is well known for its place on the PGA Tour and THE PLAYERS Championship, and tennis players have traditionally flocked here, as well.”

Minkin adds that the area’s many natural amenities – including its beaches, rivers and marshes – make Ponte Vedra an ideal vacation spot for nature-lovers of all kinds, while its proximity to St. Augustine and Jacksonville provides ample access to the diversions of city.
