After a major, 14-month renovation, the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall reopened on Aug. 1. The results of the $12.9-million project were immediately embraced by the community and included upgrades to sound and lighting, artist amenities, seating, concessions and infrastructure. There is a new merchandise store, an onsite Kookaburra Coffee Café, outdoor terraces and an enormous gallery of past concert posters.
The first act to take the stage was Grammy Award-winning bluegrass artist Dan Tyminski. The show was sold out.
Here are some photos of an event celebrating the reopening prior to that first concert.
