First Coast Cultural Center recently received an honorary recognition from St. Johns County in celebration of its 30th year as a nonprofit arts organization. Earlier this year, FCCC also received a proclamation from Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan for being a vital force in bringing the arts to life for three decades in the First Coast region, enriching the community through classes for all ages, events and exhibitions from local, regional and national artists. Furthermore, FCCC was commended for offering free Sound Connections Music Therapy to children with disabilities and Kick StART Afterschool Art Enrichment programs in Title 1 schools.
