As Nocatee continues to grow and change with each passing season, so does its idea of health care.

Opening Dec. 8, Flagler Health is proud to unveil its new Flagler Health+ Village at Nocatee, which features comprehensive clinical care the latest advancements in community health care.

“We developed this unique concept by working with a health advisory council that we formed in Nocatee two years ago,” said Gina Mangus, vice president of Strategy and Business Development at Flagler Health+. “We have really been listening and collaborating with what they think the Nocatee community needs to further enhance their health and well-being.”

The Village will be a one-stop shop where residents and community members can find all the services they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle and total wellness.

Services such as primary care, orthopedics, heart and vascular care and lab/imaging results are just a few of the many health care options offered at The Village, but physical health is not the only specialty Flagler Health+ offers.

“Our health village incorporates traditional clinical care as well as some new approaches to improving people’s wellbeing,” Mangus said. “In addition to clinical services we have a community engagement space.”

The community engagement space will host a variation of classes like health coaching, art lessons and support groups that residents are encouraged to join.

In addition to the engagement space, The Village is home to a sprawling 1-acre park that includes a splash pad and playground for children, as well as swinging benches, inhabitable art and a nature path.

Residents can also grab a cup of coffee at The Kookaburra coffee shop, a St. Augustine-based coffee brand located on The Village property, before they head into any appointments or classes.

Flagler Health+ has partnered with the St. Augustine Amphitheater to open a performance pavilion in The Village, where they plan to bring community-focused programming to the stage. Local schools will be able to utilize the new stage for performances and competitions.

“Our vision is to advance physical, social, and economic health for the community as a whole,” Mangus said. “We are excited to bring a new concept of healthcare and wellness to the Nocatee area.”
