Former PGA Tour player redefines driving range experience

Charles Raulerson, former PGA Tour player and owner of Fleming Island Golf Club, has enhanced the golf club range experience with the installation of Power Tee and other amenities for its members and guests.

Raulerson saw Power Tee and knew that it was exactly what he needed to elevate the “top notch” golf experience that patrons are seeking. The serious golfer, as well as recreational players and new players trying for the first time can use Power Tee to create a more rewarding experience, whether that’s fine-tuning swing mechanics or just enjoying a night out with friends.

Members and guests can try out Power Tee along with Top Tracer at Fleming Island Golf Club before noon each day at no charge.

Power Tee is the world's premier automated teeing system and is currently installed and featured at 80% of the golf ranges in the United Kingdom. Power Tee offices are in Jacksonville and Swindon, U.K., and Power Tee is currently automating the bays in ranges in 18 countries, teeing up more than 6 million balls each day.

In addition to Power Tee, Raulerson has integrated Top Tracer and added a full-service indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant.

“We see the future of golf clubs and driving ranges being just as Raulerson has envisioned,” said Martin Wyeth, CEO and founder of Power Tee. “Technology, like Power Tee, coupled with a bar, restaurant and amenities that are attractive to all levels of players and give the members and community a reason to come together for a great time.”

Designed by architect Bobby Weed, Fleming Island Golf Club’s design features diverse backdrops of native wetlands, dense timbers and waste areas. This 6,700-yard, 18-hole layout brings with it a par of 71.
