As the effects of COVID-19 continue to evolve throughout the country, Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie invite First Coast families to celebrate Halloween safely with loved ones by hosting Halloween trick-or-treat events in all local stores.

The free events will take place from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. for neighbors to maintain a sense of normalcy during this uncertain time and have some fun.

Customers will have the opportunity to trick-or-treat by visiting complimentary candy stations located throughout their neighborhood store (heathier options are also available), which will be served safely by Harveys and Winn-Dixie associates donned in their favorite Halloween costumes, masks and gloves. Costumes are encouraged, but not required, for participation in the trick-or-treat events. However, for a safer celebration, masks are required for everyone’s health and well-being. Each store will continue to follow appropriate cleaning and sanitation guidelines with hand sanitizer available at each candy station.
