Vilano Beach Main Street Holiday Village activities continue throughout the month of December. Here’s a look at the schedule.
December 9
Author Book Fair Extravaganza — Vilano Road will be lined with a variety of authors for meet-and-greets. “The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition” author Carol Aebersold will read to the group and be available for a book signings. All are welcome to bring to their own copy of the “Elf on the Shelf” book or purchase them at Metalartz Gallery. Book proceeds will go to a local children’s charity. Admission is free.
December 16
Vilano Holiday Village Christmas Artisan Market — The perfect time to get unique and local holiday gifts in just one place.
In addition, Jeremy Weinglass will perform. He has amassed more than 30 years of experience as a professional musician and composer with an expansive repertoire of classical, standards, musicals, rock and pop. Admission is free.
December 23
Cirque Adventure’s high-flying Elf Circus is coming to town! This aerial and acrobatic show performs to favorite holiday tunes. There will be aerialists flying high in the air, acrobats flipping and tumbling everywhere. There will be three (30 minute) performances.
Also, St. Johns County Fire and Rescue Department will showcase emergency vehicles at the event, with the opportunity to get up close and learn more. Admission is free.
